Dream Not
I dream of reality,
a R.E.M.embrance
of when I am
presently awake.
Not moving my
eyes in front of you,
but heavy lids
propped up
by your story.
Your joy and pain
sleepy rain
running down
my cheeks.
My reality becomes
a dream with you of
moments of
wide
awake.
