Fawn

I saw spots before my eyes.

They flew the above the road

like snowflakes on the wind.

The spindle legs blurred them.

Awkward leaps of fear caught us.

We almost touched

and the white dots

made me feel young again.

awww, what a precious poem. I remember the day my kids found a little fawn resting in the woods. We enjoyed watching & getting pictures for a while. Thanks for sharing.
