See what happens when you over water?

It’s time to tend a little garden.

Grab some tin snips and start

with the metal myrtle.

I know, they aren’t weeds, just plants

in the wrong place.

Maybe not so wrong though as

the seeds were cast in iron.

The sky the planner, planter scraped

was peeled and set like beams of light.

Now we like ants wander underneath

and in and out,

and in and out.

An overwatered garden. Great overall concept and use of language.
“The sky the planner, planter scraped

Excellent flow, which also fits the image very well. Cool take on the prompt, Jerry

What a great metaphor. Yes, there’s too many places that have been overwatered.

And those weeds will keep on growing, too, and new ones will sprout.

    Good poem, Jerry.

I very much enjoy the feel of this…and your internal rhyme lines are nice and subtle, but offer a bit of fun pause as one reads…nice take on photo~
