Forsythia

Burn brightly in the rain,

send your rays across the field,

or sit silently, wait, and whisper

on the wandering breeze.

 

Set your golden lips,

the ones mimicking the sun,

and blow her yellow kisses.

Lay them golden on her olive skin.
